On behalf of Children's Mercy Cancer Center (CMCC), I would like to express our gratitude for your generous donation. As you may know, the mission of CMCC is to provide financial and volunteer support to address the needs of children with cancer and their families at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics. These needs include psychosocial support, research, education, and quality of care.Your donation provides us with a variety of opportunities to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones. Cancer touches many lives and CMCC is devoted to supporting these children in their time of need. CMCC supports the Parent To Parent Program, which connects a newly diagnosed family with families that have completed diagnosis and treatment, as well as provides support to bereaved families. Other areas we support on a regular basis are: salary support for a psychologist, who works specifically with hematology / oncology patients, non-physician continuing education, and research funds for the Hematology / Oncology Fellowship Program. We also support special requests to fund projects that are aligned with the mission of the Cancer Center, such as The Beaded Journey, which allows the oncology patient to collect a bead for each procedure or event during their treatment. The purpose of the program is to provide the children with a visual way to talk about the journey through their illness.
So, as you can see, your financial support will assist us in meeting our patients’ needs in a variety of ways. Thank you again for your donation and support. If at anytime you have questions concerning the use of your donation, feel free to contact our office.

On behalf of the Basehor Car Show committee and the Senior Class, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to those who helped with donations for this years show. We had a great turn out of 250 participants. The weather could have been better, but we were still able to pull off a wonderful event. We avoided the rain that our neighbors received that day. We had great food, music, and giveaways along with some beautiful vehicles. This was all possible because of the generosity of people like you. We thank you very much!
Thanks to people like you we are closer to giving our children the send off into their future that they deserve. We applaud your contribution. This years' class will have 150 graduates. It takes a lot of effort by a lot of people to put on a show of this magnitude.Thank you for your support!!
